Angry Ghanaians have responded to the President’s statement that his government has improved and changed the lives of many Ghanaians.
Delivering a speech at the 12th Graduation Ceremony of Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission and Culture, at Akropong, Akuapem in the Eastern Region, he said the fundamentals of the economy have been strengthened.
According to him, the administration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has brought renewed hope to Ghanaians.
‘’This has resulted in the growing stability of the macro-economy and the cedi, reduction in inflation and interest rates.
‘’ At the halfway stage of my government’s tenure, we have proven by all accounts, to be good managers of the Ghanaian economy, and we have made significant progress in all aspects of our nation’s life and towards the realization of the v vision of a Ghana Beyond Aid, ‘’Nana Addo said.
Sighting a post on YEN.com.gh Face book page, which asked Ghanaians to give their views on the said statement and whether they can relate to it.
One Face book user said:”Old man! Please don’t provoke people to curse you oh.’’
Another said: ‘’More is needed to put our education onto the right track, when much attention is given to second cycle while tertiary and basic education is collapsing.’’
One other guy said: Say your family and friends not Ghanaians.’’
